Treatments by Board-Certified Psychiatrists for mental health problems, including (but not limited to) depression, anxiety, ADHD, bipolar disorder, OCD, psychotic disorders, and eating disorders.
Mental Wellness
Develop a plan, including lifestyle adjustments, to establish, work towards, and achieve mental wellness goals (e.g., improving the quality of relationships, work performance, or overall satisfaction with life).
Medication Management
Reassess the current psychotropic medication regimen for the need to maintain, adjust, or wean medications based on identified treatment goals.
Psychotherapy
Supportive and solution-focused "talk therapy" incorporated into every treatment visit.
Eating Disorder Treatment
Develop a treatment plan, in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team (including your Primary Care Physician, therapist, and dietitian), that is sensitive to the unique challenges associated with disordered eating behaviors.
Family Counseling
Guidance in identifying family habits that contribute to mental health challenges and developing (and executing) a specific action plan to learn new habits that facilitate the achievement of identified wellness goals.
Pregnancy and Postpartum Mental Health
Treatments for maternity-related mental health disorders, which can include exacerbation of prior illness or new symptoms occurring during pregnancy and/or after delivery. These can include symptom monitoring and/or medication management, with special consideration to lactation needs.
Child and Adolescent Mental Health
Identifying mental issues that contribute to challenges with social development, school performance, and general outlook on life; and develop (and execute) treatment plans that incorporate the needs of the child/teenager and their family.
